Privacy Policy

The short version

Talleely is a local-first app. All your trip data lives entirely on your own device. It is never sent to our servers, because we don't have a server that stores your data. We do not collect, sell, or share any personal information.

Data we collect

None. Talleely does not require an account and does not transmit trip data, expense records, or personal information to any remote server. Everything you enter stays in your browser's local storage.

The only optional external communication is the in-app feedback form, which sends your message to a private Discord webhook if you choose to submit it. No identifying information is attached unless you type it yourself.

Analytics

We use Umami, self-hosted on our own infrastructure, to count page visits. Umami is cookieless and collects no personal data, only aggregate statistics such as page views, referrer, and country. Your data never leaves our servers and is not shared with any third party.

Cookies

Talleely sets no tracking cookies. Browser storage (localStorage) is used solely to persist your trip data on your device. This storage is under your full control and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Third-party services

Fonts (Fraunces and Plus Jakarta Sans) are served directly from our own domain. No requests are made to Google or any font CDN at runtime. The only external service that may receive data from you is Discord, and only if you voluntarily submit the in-app feedback form.

Data loss and backup

Because your data lives in browser storage, clearing your browser data or switching devices will remove your trips. We strongly recommend using the Export Trip feature (available inside each trip) to back up important trips as a JSON file. On iOS, installing Talleely to your home screen helps protect against automatic storage eviction.

Children

Talleely is a general-purpose app not directed at children under 13. We collect no personal information from any user, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever make material changes to how we handle data, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Since we collect no personal data, significant changes are unlikely.
